Cumby announces candidacy for Pct. 1 constable’s race

— Sammie (Sam) Cumby has announced his candidacy for Precinct 1 constable.
Cumby said he believes constables have an obligation to perform their duties on all issues regardless of race, gender or economic status. In making his announcement, Cumby said all of the people of Precinct 1 should be treated equally and with dignity and respect.
If given the opportunity, Cumby’s goal as constable is to serve Precinct 1 on a full-time basis, as well as being a positive and visible role model.
