Voters in the Malakoff Independent School District on Saturday OKd a $7 million bond proposal, 339 to 153.
In Brownsboro, voters gave approval to creating an emergency services district with a 106 to 86.
It was a different story in Payne Springs, however, as voters once again said "no" to a measure to sell liquor within the city limits. The liquor election failed, 100 to 86, to keep Payne Springs dry.
