DEU arrests three on drug charges

From Staff Reports

Henderson County Drug Enforcement Unit Investigators arrested three people after discovering a large quantity of methamphetamine.

It was made during a search of a Payne Springs area residence Friday.

Charles Adam Munroe, 29, William Robert Munroe, 54, and Courtney Nicole Morgan, 21, were each charged with manufacture with intent to deliver a controlled substance — 40-200 grams — a first degree felony. Bond on the suspects was set at $100,000.

HCSD reports states DEU investigators, Kenneth Collard, David Faught, Darrell Waller and Ronny Halbert executed a search warrant in the Golden Oaks addition at 5:45 a.m.

During the search the methamphetamine was found as well as items that are precursors to manufacturing the substance.

The Henderson County tactical team and Gun Barrel Police Chief Damon Boswell participated in the raid, reports states.

The suspects were transferred to jail and booked shortly before noon.
