ATHENS —
Due to the threat of inclement weather in the area, Tuesday night’s District 15-3A doubleheader between Athens and Mineola will be included in Thursday’s edition of the Athens Daily Review.
The Lady Hornets came into the contest with a record of 8-15 and 1-2 in district play, while Mineola was 22-3 overall and 3-0 in district play.

Justin Jones Eagle Scout Work Day at Kiwanis Park
Athens Life Scout Justin Jones spent Friday and Saturday repairing benches and performing other acts of community service at Kiwanis Park. He enlisted the help of a few fellow Scouts and friends in the project on Saturday. Jones is working on the requirements to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
