Lady Panthers look for revenge against Red Oak Lady Hawks

MABANK — The District 31-4A champion Mabank Lady Panthers will face a familiar foe in the Red Oak Lady Hawks Tuesday night in the Class 4A, Region 2 quarterfinals at Mesquite's E.H. Hanby Stadium.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Red Oak eliminated Mabank, 4-2, in last year's regional quarterfinals after being down 2-1 at the intermission.

The Lady Panthers won in dramatic fashion over Texas High 2-1 in double overtime Friday night in the sectional round at Longview Lobo's Stadium.

Senior Savannah Henderson scored both goals in the sectional win.
