Russell Stover plant evacuated again; third bomb threat

Corsicana — For the third time in the last week, the Russell Stover factory on south U.S. Highway 287 in Corsicana has been evacuated because of a bomb threat.

Police Chief Randy Bratton said the suspect is believed to be the same person who placed the calls last week, claiming a bomb was going to go off inside the factory.

Plant employees have been evacuated as police and management search the building for any possible explosive device.

Bratton said Russell Stover managment has been cooperating with their investigators, and police are trying to track down leads in the case.
