One (big) step closer

Kevin and Jeaneane Lilly of Lilly/McDonald’s present a check for $10,000 to Adam Davis of the Athens Leadership Institute class to be used for the construction of the planned Splash Pad at Kiwanis Park in Athens. Also pictured is Terry Brown of McDonald’s. The cost of the Splash Pad is $200,000, and area businesses and individuals are pitching in to help pay for the project. Anyone interested in donating is asked to contact the Athens Chamber of Commerce at 903-675-5181.
