Athens Food Pantry Board President Linda Horton holds one of many bags shown that were gathered from postal carriers from post offices in both Athens and LaRue, filled with store items for people in need. Recently, postal carriers gathered bags of food and other necessities from items left near post boxes on their routes. Shown with Horton is volunteer Marlin Lippincott, who was instrumental in the success of the program.
