All proceeds from the TVCC-Navarro football game last Saturday at Bruce Field will be donated to the American Red Cross to assist in the aftermath of the earthquake/tsunami in the Samoan Islands region. Cardinal football players Isaac Puapuaga (99) has relatives in the region, and Beck Coulter (11) is from the Leone village of Pago, Pago, American Samoa — one of the hardest-hit regions. Both players are freshmen. Smiley said anyone who wishes to also donate to the effort can contact Lucy Strom at the TVCC Athletic Office at 903-675-6359.
