Athens senior Gerardo de la Fuente is back with the Hornet’s soccer team after a year and seven months of no soccer action. De La Fuente scored his first goal of the season on a rebound goal during a 4-1 win over Crandall last Friday. De la Fuente was diagnosed with aplastic/anemia in November of last year and spent most of the year in the hospital.
