Edgar (left) and Pedro Carrillo combined their love for the game of soccer and spent countless hours creating the Beckham soccer facility on 701 W. College Street in Athens. The father and son duo said the facility was built from the own finances and will open on July 6 at noon with a day full of soccer action. The first 150-to-200 people will receive a free hot dog.
