Ten-year-old Christopher Trahan knows what it means to win. Before winning a number of Grand Champion honors in Athens this week in the show staged by Henderson County Horse Committee, he also was Grand Champion in a show and halter competition in Nashville, Tenn. He is shown next to one of his horses, Jimmy at the competition in Athens Thursday. His father, Scott Trahan was also in the arena at the Henderson County Fair Park Complex, where he also won Grand Champion honors for his age groups. The show is scheduled to run through Sunday, free to the public.
