Benny Rogers is sports editor of the Athens Daily Reivew. He has been a full-time employee at the Review since 1982 and became sports editor in 1984. He first started with Review sister publications the Cedar Creek Pilot and The Malakoff News. Prior to becoming a full-time employee he was a sports correspondent, making the 2006 football season his 30th at the Review. He is a member of the Texas Sports Writers Association and has been a voter on the AP Schoolboy Football Poll since 1986. He is a lifelong resident of Malakoff.
