Henderson County First Assistant District Attorney Mark Hall speaks at the lectern in front of the west side of the Henderson County Courthouse Tuesday as County Judge Richard Sanders looks on. Hall and Sanders spoke prior to the signing of a proclamation declaring April Child Abuse Awareness Month in Henderson County. Hall mentioned that District Attorney Scott McKee, who usually attends proclamation signings dealing with child abuse prevention, is currently speaking with state lawmakers in Austin about child endangerment in the presence of methamphetamine, along with the subject of intoxication assault and other topics.
