Henderson County District Attorney Scott McKee scoffs at the heel he just might be wearing when he joins a number of other county officials and residents in the East Texas Crisis Center’s “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” event on June 1. Participants will literally be asked to walk one mile in heels to show support for ending rape, sexual assault and gender violence. Registration has already started. To get involved, call Donna Johnson at 903-675-2137; Kim Walker at 903-477-1706; or Kim Hodges at 903-676-1923.
