Shalonda Enis (left) and Kurt Budke (center) were two of 10 former Henderson County Junior College/Trinity Valley Community College athletes and coaches inducted as the first class into the Cardinal Hall of Fame in October. Budke coached the Lady Cardinal basketball team to four national championships in the 1990s, the first in 1994 on a team led by Enis. With Enis and Budke is Budke’s wife, Shelley.
