The East Texas Sluggers 11U team went 4-0 this weekend at the Lone Star Select World Series in Whitehouse. The boys started out Saturday playing Sulphur Springs and won 10-2, then took a 4-1 win against Lindale. Sunday, the Sluggers played Whitehouse and won 3-2 and got the championship win against Lindale, 9-8. Coaches are David Cornelius, Scott McManus, Juan Arzola and Rusty Elton. Players are Coy Elton, Ryan Arzola, Grant McManus, Alex Mendez, Chris Perez, Sam Marquez, Cooper Currington, Clay Kennedy, David Cornelius, Zackery Cornelius, Cooper Andrews and Chris Garcia. Bat boy is Nick Arzola.
