DORIS DAY.JPG

The Doris Day Horse Rescue and Adoption Center recently had a performance called "Winter Wonderland." The event was a vision by Stormy Whitfield, who wrote and directed the play. It was a very memorable occasion for all that attended the event. In the picture, Stormy Whitfield was the "fairy," and Aubrey Gaines was the "elf." Dale Kahl was the "toy maker," and Misty Plank is in the formal dress and wrote and performed all the songs. Jody Morris, Morgan Bobinson, Virginia Hightower and Harley Dell were all "snowflakes." Howard Goldman was "Father Christmas," and Ashley Johnson was also an "elf," along with Aubrey and Stormy's daughters, and Misti's sons as "elfs." The center is located at 12250 County Road 3806 in Murchinson, and the phone number is 903-469-3062.
