The Athens 8th grade “A” team won first place at the Cayuga Athletic Booster Club Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 13. Team members are (front row, from left) Samantha Smith; MiKayla Collins; Kelli Gartman; Samantha Miller; Isabel Villedas; coach Dacy Ivy; Lydia Edlin; McKenzie Fowler; Kristin House; Nicole Hill; Alicia Grogan; and Amber-Lynn Kalawe. The 7th grade “B” team also had a strong showing, finishing in third place.
