Nita Sawicki

Classified Manager Nita Sawicki grew up in Garland. She said she has lived "all over the metroplex" and spent six years in San Jose, California, "but I came to my senses and moved back to the Great State of Texas." Seven years ago she left the metroplex to move to Eustace, near Athens, largely because she wanted her children to go to a smaller school. In previous jobs, Nita has traveled extensively. She was with Xerox for 10 years troubleshooting problems with Xerox word processors and training sales reps on the equipment. After that she was with Interleaf Inc. in Dallas and Santa Clara, California, installing and training users on electronic publishing software. Nita has two children, a son and a daughter, who she says are her "best accomplishment."
